Question: Alex Hutchings - Sound

I knew Alex Hutchings 3 days ago, and I "had to" buy Custom Fusion Series 1 and 2. I like is technique, is musicality, but also his sound, expecially in solos like "Storm Rider" or "Rock and a Hard Place". I see he used a Fender Princeton, but I would know if he used a pedal distortion, or if they are the amp's effects. I would find that sound...
